The theme of this year's VBS is "Hero Headquarters"

At Hero Headquarters, kids will meet unlikely Bible heroes. They are not famous leaders or called by God to perform amazing miracles - yet their small acts were used by God to do wonderful things!
Help kids discover that if they're willing to be used by God in any situation, no matter how big or small, they can make a difference. With God's power at work, they can be heroes right where they are!
Meet the Heroes
Maintenance Mac
Armed only with his trusty tool belt and his exceptional ability to improvise, Mac keeps things running at Hero HeadQuarters. He’s the go-to guy when you need something done right and done fast—and all the heroes know it. Mac’s the only one in town who can save the day using only a stick of gum, a set of dentures, and a pack of ramen noodles! But he’s more than just a man with a mega-mind. Mac’s gracious attitude and desire to help others make him a true hero in every sense of the word . . . whether he knows it or not.
Water Woman
As you might guess, Water Woman makes a splash wherever she goes! But when it comes to being a superhero, she’s a bit drippy. Water Woman’s heart is definitely in the right place, but she needs a boost in confidence. She is so afraid to make a mistake that she tends to be over-cautious and miss opportunities to help people because she hesitates. During her time at Hero HeadQuarters, Water Woman is learning to trust in God’s power and to have the guts to just dive in!
Pizza Man
Holy Pepperoni, why is this guy always in such a hurry? Because everything has to be done in 30 minutes or less! Pizza Man is constantly rushing in and out trying to get dozens of things done at once. He’s so busy juggling details that he often overlooks people and situations that are right in front of him. As he spends time at Hero HeadQuarters, Pizza Man is starting to see that he can be a hero right where he is. He just needs to slow down and take the time to pay attention to God’s call.
Cooper
It’s Super Cooper! After a short stint on the game show stage, Cooper returns to train and teach the youngest heroes at Hero HeadQuarters. You’ll find Super Cooper with the preschoolers, helping them explore what God’s heroes do and say.
