Stewardship at Gloria Dei is an ongoing commitment to "Share Well, Live Well,
and Care Well."

Our Stewardship Ministry attempts to cultivate a faithful and joyful response to God's blessings and a growing understanding and practice of supporting God's work within the congregation and in the community and world beyond.

In the fall of the year, each member and family makes a pledge to "Share Well" of their time, talents, and treasures.  We use these resources to support our ministries here at Gloria Dei and beyond.

In the Winter and Spring, we commit ourselves and support each other to "Live Well."  Our faith in God and our salvation through Jesus Christ are invitations to live our lives to the fullest.  As we prepare for Easter, we set out on a spirited Walk to Jerusalem to encourage exercise and stewardship of God's gifts of our bodies and our mental, physical, and spiritual health.

Then, in Spring and Summer, we take a special opportunity to "Care Well" with our Seeds and Harvest Initiative.  With our gardens, we nurture God's earth and plantings into a harvest that we share in our community.

Stewardship is an evolving and multi-faceted ministry at Gloria Dei.  Small and large financial gifts, over and above pledges made in the Fall, appear through out the year, sometimes to honor or in memory of someone and sometime in response to a new or unexpected need.  And, untold offerings of time and talents meet needs and make wonderful things happen each year.

Recently, a Health Ministry Team has emerged and a member has volunteered to serve as a Parish Nurse at Gloria Dei.  This is an example of the surprising way that God works within our community of faith.

Keep checking this page and the news pages of the Gloria Dei website for Stewardship happenings.
